Attorney James A. Giries is a highly skilled and experienced family law attorney who has been serving clients in Texas since 2003. Attorney Giries earned his law degree from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. Before attending law school, he proudly served in the Air Force. Attorney Giries decided to pursue a legal career after personally experiencing what the family law process was like from the client’s perspective, including the emotions, stress, and struggles that can come with dealing with a difficult family situation.
After law school, Attorney Giries honed his legal skills by working alongside respected attorneys at established firms. This experience enabled him to gain first-hand knowledge about the inner workings of courtrooms in Texas and taught him how to effectively advocate for clients of all types, including individuals and businesses.
Prior to joining North Texas Family Lawyers, Attorney Giries founded The Law Office of James Giries. Attorney Giries spent more than a decade owning and operating his law office. During that time, he was able to guide several clients through the family law process, including helping them overcome emotionally troubling and complex legal issues involving divorce, child custody, property division, child support, spousal maintenance, and more.
